So... I ended up trying Mixcraft after digging through a bunch of forum posts and watching videos from regular users, that helped me get started more than the official stuff did at first.
The program itself was easy to figure out, and anytime I hit a wall, the Acoustica community usually already had an answer posted somewhere. Even some of the older threads were still useful, which I really appreciated.

I also had a good experience with support. They replied like an actual person, not with some generic copy-and-paste response. For the price and how straightforward it feels, I’d definitely give it 5 stars.

Ive picked up a few virtual instruments from Acustica and theyve been great in my tracks. Theyre easy to work with and I havent run into any weird problems so far. Happy with them.

5 stars from me. I use acoustica with a bunch of VST plugins, they all loaded up fine, even a few older ones I keep around because I’m too stubborn to replace them. I haven’t had any weird crashes so far, and setup was simple, which is good because I really didn’t feel like spending my evening digging through forums again. Always nice when something just works.

My first impression of Acoustica was that it felt steady and dependable, and that’s pretty much stayed true the whole time I’ve been using it. It just gets out of the way and lets me record without worrying about random crashes or the session freezing right when I’m in the middle of something.

Even when I’ve got a lot of tracks and plugins running on my laptop, it still feels smooth. That first “this is stable” feeling ended up being accurate, and that’s the main reason I keep using it every day.

The MIDI editing works well overall. It’s easy enough to use, though I did run into a few tiny issues here and there.

I was a bit lost when I started, but the tutorials on acoustica.com made things way easier for me. I didn’t have to waste a bunch of time digging around, and the steps were clear enough that I could just follow along and fix my audio setup quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that support got back to me so quickly, which shouldn’t feel like a miracle these days, but here we are. The replies were helpful and got the issue sorted without a bunch of back-and-forth.

Looking back, I’m happy I upgraded. I remember expecting it to cost more, but I actually paid less and ended up getting more than I thought I would. No regrets at all.

The audio is fine for basic use, but it’s definitely not perfect. I noticed a little background noise here and there, and sometimes the sound comes across kind of flat. It still gets the job done, but some of these issues feel preventable, which makes it a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s not bad, but not something I’d rave about either. I’d give it 3 stars for now.

These loops sound really good. I dropped them into a track and it was almost unfair how quickly everything came together. Super easy to use, and they add that little bit of magic without any drama

I have been using it for my mixes, and the EQ and cleanup tools are solid. They helped make everything sound a lot clearer. It did take me a little while to figure out where things were, but once I got used to it, I was happy with the results.

I picked this up mostly because I didn’t want to spend a crazy amount just to do some decent audio work at home. So far, it’s been a good deal for what you get. I was messing with it on a Sunday afternoon with coffee next to me, and it did what I needed without making me feel like I had to buy a bunch of extra stuff. No major complaints from me at this point...

I downloaded it, ran the setup, and it opened right up without any weird errors or confusing steps. Maybe they cleaned up the installer recently or something, because it felt smooth from start to finish.

I just liked how straightforward Acoustica was to use. I didn’t have to click around forever or look up a bunch of tutorials, and I was able to get my project started quickly. It’s just nice when software makes sense right away.
